A comprehensive review meeting on crime and law enforcement was held at the Ramagundam Police Commissionerate, led by Police Commissioner Ambar Kishore Jha. The session focused on evaluating pending cases, ongoing investigations, arrests, and execution of warrants, along with assessing the overall performance of police personnel.

During the meeting, the Commissioner emphasized the need for faster investigations, particularly in long pending cases. Officers were asked to explain delays and were instructed to take immediate corrective action. Ensuring timely justice for victims was highlighted as a priority, with directions to coordinate closely with judicial authorities.

The Commissioner also stressed the importance of using modern technology in crime detection, especially in theft cases. Officials were directed to improve recovery rates and ensure stolen property is returned to victims. Habitual offenders involved in thefts are to be closely monitored, with history sheets to be opened where necessary.

Focus was also placed on strengthening surveillance infrastructure. The Commissioner urged the installation of CCTV cameras in vulnerable areas with active participation from local communities, including residential colonies and commercial establishments. Station officers were instructed to regularly monitor existing camera systems.

Public safety and traffic management were key discussion points. Police were told to identify accident prone zones and take preventive measures in coordination with relevant departments. Awareness on traffic rules is to be promoted through the Arrive Alive initiative of the state government.

Special attention was directed toward the safety of women, children, and elderly citizens. Officers were instructed to respond promptly to public complaints and maintain a courteous approach at police stations. Continuous patrolling and visibility through Blue Colts vehicles were also emphasized to ensure public confidence.

The Commissioner further ordered strict monitoring of illegal activities such as drug abuse, gambling, and other anti social behavior, with firm action against offenders. Senior officers from various divisions, including DCPs, ACPs, and inspectors, attended the meeting and discussed strategies to enhance policing standards across the region.
