Rising temperatures across Telangana have triggered fresh warnings from the meteorological department as heatwave conditions continue to intensify. Officials have forecast a further increase of up to three degrees in the coming days adding to the already harsh weather being experienced across the state.
An orange alert has been issued for the combined districts of Khammam and Mahabubnagar where heat conditions are expected to be particularly severe. Authorities have urged residents in these regions to remain cautious and limit outdoor activities during peak hours.
Meanwhile all other districts in Telangana have been placed under a yellow warning indicating rising temperatures and the need for precautionary measures. The alert comes as the sun’s intensity is being felt as early as 10 in the morning with daytime conditions becoming increasingly uncomfortable.
Weather officials noted that the ongoing heatwave is part of a broader seasonal pattern but stressed the importance of public awareness and safety. People are advised to stay hydrated avoid direct exposure to sunlight and take necessary precautions especially during afternoon hours.
The sharp rise in temperatures has also raised concerns for vulnerable groups including children elderly individuals and outdoor workers. Authorities continue to monitor the situation closely and are expected to issue further updates based on changing weather patterns.
