Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is set to visit the Medigadda barrage as part of a key inspection aimed at reviewing ongoing restoration efforts and accelerating infrastructure works in the region.

The visit comes at a time when the government is pushing for faster completion of repair activities following structural concerns reported at the barrage earlier. Officials have been working under national safety guidelines to strengthen the structure and ensure long term stability. The Chief Minister is expected to closely examine technical works such as drilling operations and interact with irrigation officials on site.

During the tour, a detailed review meeting will be held at the project location along with Irrigation Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy. The focus will be on assessing progress, identifying gaps, and ensuring that required equipment and resources are mobilized without delay. Authorities have already been directed to speed up both restoration and rehabilitation measures.

Before reaching the barrage, the Chief Minister will visit Kaleshwaram, where he will offer prayers at the Sri Kaleshwara Mukteswara Swamy temple. He will also lay the foundation stone for temple development works, highlighting the government’s focus on both infrastructure and cultural projects.

The tour will conclude with a public meeting at Nasturupalli in Kataram mandal. At the gathering, the Chief Minister is scheduled to release the second phase of Rythu Bharosa financial assistance, providing relief and support to farmers across the state.

Preparations for the visit have been reviewed by ministers and officials to ensure smooth conduct of the program. Authorities have emphasized coordination among departments to manage the large scale arrangements and public participation expected at the event.

The Medigadda inspection marks another step in the government’s effort to address critical irrigation infrastructure while simultaneously advancing welfare initiatives and regional development.
