A sudden fire accident at a scrap shop in the Bahadurpura area of Hyderabad triggered panic among locals, though no injuries were reported. Fire officials confirmed that the situation was brought under control after a rapid response.

According to fire department authorities, as many as eight fire tenders were immediately deployed to the location after receiving an alert. Firefighters worked swiftly to contain the flames and prevent the fire from spreading to nearby structures in the busy crossroads area.

Officials said the exact cause of the fire is still unknown. Teams are currently gathering information from the shop owner and examining the site to determine how the fire started. Preliminary findings have not yet indicated any specific reason behind the incident.

The incident comes close on the heels of other recent fire accidents reported earlier in the region. On April 9, separate fires were reported at a solvent industry and a tent house storage facility in the Jeedimetla area of Medchal Malkajgiri district, raising concerns about fire safety compliance.

Authorities have urged business owners, especially those dealing with scrap and flammable materials, to follow safety measures strictly to avoid such incidents in the future.
