A disturbing incident created panic in Hyderabad on Tuesday after a woman working at a spa center in Kavadiguda was allegedly killed by her husband. The incident took place at a spa facility operating on the fourth floor of a local building in the area.
According to preliminary information gathered by police, a heated argument reportedly took place between the couple earlier in the day. Following the dispute, the woman identified as Shwetha left for her workplace as part of her regular routine.
Police suspect that the husband followed her to the spa center carrying a knife. Investigators said he allegedly entered the premises and attacked her in front of people present there. The woman suffered severe injuries during the assault and died at the location due to heavy blood loss.
After the incident, the accused reportedly went directly to a police station and surrendered before officers, admitting his involvement in the crime. Soon after receiving information, police teams reached the scene and began collecting evidence.
The body was shifted for postmortem examination while officials registered a case and launched a detailed investigation to determine the reasons that led to the incident.
