A tragic road accident in Mahabubabad district has left three families devastated after three young men lost their lives in a high speed collision on the Warangal Khammam national highway. The incident occurred near Velikatta outskirts in Thorrur mandal and has once again raised concerns over dangerous speeding on highways.
According to preliminary information, a tractor carrying a load of grain was travelling toward a rice mill when the accident took place. At the same time, three youths riding a sports bike were heading toward Warangal at a reportedly high speed.
The motorcycle is believed to have rammed into the tractor trolley from behind with tremendous impact. The force of the collision was severe, leaving the three riders with fatal injuries. Police officials who reached the spot immediately launched rescue and investigation procedures.
The deceased were identified as Alli Sampath aged 25, Lingamalla Satish aged 28 and Pottakarla Vamsi aged 22, all residents of Bodlada village in Dantalapalli mandal. Authorities suspect overspeeding may have been a major factor behind the accident, though further investigation is underway.
The incident has become even more heartbreaking due to the family circumstances of one of the victims. Satish had already suffered a personal tragedy after losing his wife to illness three years ago. Despite the hardship, he had been raising his two children with care and determination.
Now, following his sudden death in the accident, the children have been left without parental support. A single moment on the road ended three young lives and left behind grief that will be difficult for their families to overcome.
