The Telangana unit of RSS strongly reacted to reports linking the organization and its members to the ongoing controversy surrounding the Bandi Bhageerath case. The organization released an official statement distancing itself from the matter and expressed serious concern over what it described as misleading claims.

The issue has attracted significant political attention because Bandi Bhageerath is the son of Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar. In its response, RSS Telangana stated that attempts were being made to unnecessarily drag the organization into a personal and unrelated matter.

Regional RSS leader Barla Sundar Reddy said certain reports and narratives were creating confusion by mentioning names of RSS members and associating them with alleged financial links. He stated that such claims were being circulated without evidence and could damage the reputation of individuals involved in social service activities.

The organization said some media reports were attempting to connect RSS workers to the controversy without factual basis. It maintained that the allegations had no connection with the organization’s activities and warned against spreading information that could mislead the public.

RSS Telangana also clarified that internal and organizational matters related to the BJP in the state are handled by the party leadership and not by the RSS state unit. The statement emphasized that the organization does not directly interfere in such political affairs.

The RSS further stated that media platforms have a responsibility to present verified information to society and urged restraint while reporting sensitive matters. It warned that legal action could be pursued against those responsible for spreading what it called false and damaging claims.
