The South India times Nizamabad: A mass national anthem program was organized in Nizamabad district on Tuesday to celebrate India’s independent Vajrotsavam-created history. Officials, non-officials, students, youths, celebrities, and common citizens all participated and made the National Anthem a success. Starting from residential areas, government offices, business, and commercial institutions, public and private educational institutions, main intersections, bus stands, railway stations, etc. will start at 11 a.m. as decided by the government.
A rare record of singing the National Anthem at the same time at 30 o’clock in all places. Zilla Parishad Chairman Dadannagari Vithal Rao, Collector C. Narayana Reddy, Police Commissioner K.RNagaraju, Additional Collector of Local Bodies Chitramishra, ACP Pilu Venkateshwar, Giriraj, Superintendent of Government General Hospital Dr. Prathimaraj, Eminent Educationist Maraiah Goud and others with students, locals, businessmen and public at Nehru Park Square in the heart of the city participated in National Anthem together.
At Old LIC Square, Additional Collector B. Chandrasekhar along with district level officials of respective departments, employees, and locals participated in this program. City Mayor Neethukiran at Qilla Chowrasta, Nuda Chairman Prabhakar Reddy at Disheshwar Kudali, District Education Officer Durgaprasad Phulong in front of Joyalukkas near Chowrasta, RTC RM Ushadevi along with the passengers participated in mass national anthem singing. In a similar manner, the officials sang Jangana Mana Geetam with their staff in their offices, while national anthems were sung in private institutions as well.
