Problems of LIC agents should be resolved immediately

The South India times Jagtial: A. Venkata Swamy, President of Jagtial District Branch of Life Insurance Corporation Agents, and General Secretary Padamilaiah demanded that the problems of LIC agents should be resolved immediately. A.FAgents protested wearing black badges at Jagtial district center on Thursday as part of the agitation program across the country for the resolution of many important issues.

On this occasion, they said that the gratuity of agents should be increased by 20 lakhs, Agents Commission 2013, 2016 I.R.D.They said that it should be increased according to the gazette notification. They demanded that group medi claim should be applied to all the agents, contributory pension scheme, contributory and provident fund scheme should be introduced.

Along with increasing term insurance for agents, group insurance should be increased. To give education advance to the children of agents, to increase the benefits of direct agents, LIC has been asked by the Government of India. He said that agents should be recognized as professionals.

Housing loans should be given to club agents with 5% interest GST on insurance policies to increase the bonus given to the policyholders and to improve the servicing procedure in the branch and divisional offices. He said that the interest rates levied on various types of financial activities (delay fees levied on policy loans and outstanding premiums) should be reduced.
