On the day of the incident, the accused allegedly invited Kiran to her house when no one else was present. After a brief conversation, she convinced him to sit on a chair and claimed she would express her love in a special way. Trusting her, he complied.

Police say she then blindfolded him and tied his hands and legs, assuring him it was part of a surprise. Moments later, she reportedly poured kerosene over him and set him on fire, leading to his death on the spot.

Initially, the woman told authorities that she was in the bathroom and noticed smoke only after it was too late. However, a detailed examination of the scene raised strong suspicions of deliberate murder.
