Karnataka, Bengaluru: Another disturbing road rage episode has surfaced in Bengaluru adding to growing concerns about aggressive behaviour on city roads. The incident occurred on Dickinson Road on Republic Day and the video has since spread widely online.
According to the car owner MN Praveeni who shared the footage on social media the trouble began when a two wheeler rider jumped a traffic signal and narrowly avoided colliding with the car. Alarmed by the dangerous move the car driver questioned the rider.
Instead of acknowledging the mistake the rider allegedly stopped his vehicle and responded with abusive language. He was heard making arrogant remarks and asserting dominance over the road rather than showing any remorse for the risky act.
The situation escalated further when the rider reportedly tried to physically attack the car owner after being told to repeat his claims in front of the police. Moments later he rode away at high speed continuing to drive recklessly through traffic.
The two wheeler involved was identified as a TVS NTORQ bearing registration number KA05 ON 1454. The video clearly shows the rider ignoring traffic rules and endangering other road users.
In his post the car owner stressed that signal jumping threats and attempts at physical assault should not be dismissed as minor traffic issues. He stated that such behaviour poses a serious risk to public safety and reflects a breakdown of civic responsibility.
There is now a strong call for Bengaluru police to take the matter seriously investigate the incident thoroughly verify vehicle details and initiate appropriate legal action against the rider involved.
