In an exciting opportunity for young learners, 59 students from government schools across Telangana have been selected to visit the Indian Space Research Organisation facility at Sriharikota.

The visit is part of the Har Indian Ka Moonshot program, designed to inspire students and spark interest in space science. The selected students earned their place through state level artwork and essay competitions conducted by SCERT in collaboration with educational organizations.

Officials said the initiative is aimed at bridging the gap between classroom learning and real world scientific exposure. By visiting a premier space research center, students will gain firsthand understanding of how space missions are carried out.

To ensure a smooth journey, six teachers will accompany the students. Special arrangements have been made for their travel, with two buses provided by the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation.

The program is expected to motivate students to explore careers in science and technology, while also boosting confidence among government school students.

Education authorities believe such initiatives play a crucial role in nurturing curiosity and encouraging innovation at an early stage, especially among students who may not otherwise get access to such experiences.
