The cheating case involving social media personality Ashu Reddy has taken a fresh turn after an alleged audio clip surfaced online, adding new dimensions to an already controversial issue. The development has sparked widespread discussion, with more details continuing to emerge.
The case began with a complaint filed by an NRI identified as Dharmendra, who accused Ashu Reddy of collecting a significant amount of money under the promise of marriage. According to his allegations, nearly nine and a half crore rupees were taken over a period of time. He further claimed that the funds were used for multiple personal expenses, including assets such as vehicles, property, and gold.
The recently leaked audio, which is said to have been shared via a messaging platform, appears to include a conversation where partial repayment is discussed. In the clip, a voice believed to be Ashu Reddy is heard mentioning a timeline for returning a portion of the money, which has intensified speculation around the case.
Another point drawing attention is the mention of astrologer Venu Swamy during the conversation. This has led to further debate about whether any third parties were involved in discussions or settlements related to the matter.
Meanwhile, police have already registered a case under relevant sections related to cheating and conspiracy, and the investigation is currently underway. Ashu Reddy has approached the Telangana High Court seeking to quash the FIR, arguing that the case was filed without fully considering her version.
On the other hand, the complainant has maintained his stand, stating that he is determined to recover the money and seek justice. He has reportedly submitted evidence to support his claims and is continuing to pursue the matter legally.
With both sides holding firm positions, the case is expected to unfold further as the investigation progresses and the court examines the petition.
