CM Revanth Reddy Congratulates Nandini Sidha Reddy on Sahitya Akademi Award

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy congratulated noted poet and writer Dr Nandini Sidha Reddy for receiving the Sahitya Akademi Award 2025. The Chief Minister described the recognition as a proud moment for Telangana and its rich literary tradition.
The award has been given for the poetry collection titled Animesha written by Nandini Sidha Reddy. According to the Chief Minister, the work reflects deep human emotions and captures the challenges and social disruptions faced by people during the coronavirus pandemic.
Revanth Reddy praised the poet for portraying the struggles of society and the emotional bonds among people during difficult times. He said the work highlights both the sensitivity and commitment of the writer toward social realities.
The Chief Minister also noted that the award is a recognition of Nandini Sidha Reddy’s long journey in literature. Over the years, the writer has contributed significantly to modern Telugu poetry and has produced several meaningful and research oriented literary works.
Revanth Reddy further stated that the poet played a memorable role during the Telangana statehood movement by using literature as a powerful tool to inspire awareness among the people.
Describing him as a committed humanist and literary voice, the Chief Minister said the Sahitya Akademi Award honours the dedication and creative achievements of Nandini Sidha Reddy.
