Collector Rahul Raj Orders Swift Completion of Pending Works for Yedupayala Jathara

Ahead of the annual Yedupayala Jathara, District Collector Rahul Raj conducted an inspection of the ongoing arrangements and instructed officials to complete all pending works without delay. He stressed that devotees should not face any inconvenience during the festival and called for careful planning at every level.
Speaking during the review, the Collector highlighted the importance of essential facilities such as drinking water, parking spaces, traffic regulation, and orderly darshan arrangements. He said these works must be completed at the earliest to manage the heavy influx of pilgrims smoothly.
Officials informed the Collector that nearly ten lakh devotees are expected to visit the shrine this year. In view of the large crowd, Rahul Raj urged all departments to work in close coordination and ensure the festival concludes peacefully and without disruption.
The Collector also asked officers to remain alert throughout the jathara period and respond promptly to any emerging issues. Temple Executive Officer Veeresham and officials from various departments were present during the inspection.
