The DOST notification 2026 for Telangana degree admissions has been officially released, opening the door for students seeking undergraduate seats in colleges across the state.
The announcement was made by Higher Education Council Chairman Balakrishna Reddy, outlining a structured admission process that will be conducted in three phases. The system is designed to ensure transparency and convenience for students applying to degree colleges.
The first phase of DOST registration will begin on April 15 and continue until May 7. Students can exercise their web options from April 30 to May 8, allowing them to select preferred colleges and courses. The seat allotment for this phase will be announced on May 14, followed by online self reporting from May 15 to May 23.
The second phase registration will be open from May 15 to May 25. During this period, students can update or submit their applications. Web options for the second phase will be available from May 15 to May 26. The seat allotment will be released on May 30, and students must complete online self reporting between May 31 and June 5.
The third phase provides another opportunity for students who missed earlier rounds or wish to improve their seat options. Registration for this phase will run from May 31 to June 15, while web options can be exercised from May 31 to June 16. The final seat allotment will be declared on June 20, followed by online reporting from June 20 to June 25.
Officials have advised students to carefully follow the schedule and complete each step within the given timelines to avoid missing out on admission opportunities.
