A shocking case of medical fraud has surfaced in Hyderabad, where a man with no formal education managed to operate as a dentist for nearly two decades. The accused, identified as Ramesh, was taken into custody by the Malkajgiri Special Operations Team following a surprise raid on his clinic.

Investigations revealed that Ramesh had not even passed the 10th grade. Despite this, he created forged documents claiming to hold a BDS degree and used them to gain the trust of unsuspecting patients. Over the years, he continued to offer dental treatments without any medical knowledge or qualifications.

What raised suspicion among locals was his unusual working pattern. The clinic functioned only during late night hours, typically from 10 PM until early morning. This odd schedule eventually alerted residents, who informed the police about the suspicious activities.

Acting on the tip-off, SOT officials conducted a raid and seized fake certificates along with dental equipment from the clinic. During interrogation, it became clear that the accused had been endangering lives by performing procedures without proper training.

Police officials have urged the public to remain cautious and verify the credentials of medical practitioners before seeking treatment. They warned that choosing low-cost or unverified services can lead to serious health risks.

The incident highlights the growing concern over fake medical professionals and the urgent need for stricter monitoring to prevent such dangerous practices.
