The victim, Ramachandru, had arrived at Padamati Thanda in Tirumalayapalem mandal to attend a family function. He worked as a watchman in a nearby area and had come to spend time with relatives. During the visit, he noticed the presence of Sai, a local mechanic who had allegedly been in a relationship with his elder daughter.
Ramachandru’s daughter, who had separated from her husband, was living with her father along with her two children. Troubled by the growing closeness between her and Sai, the father reportedly decided to confront him publicly. Witnesses say the conversation quickly turned into a heated exchange.
