Hyderabad has received a major employment boost with the launch of a new global technology centre by The Hartford. The facility was inaugurated at the Financial District in Nanakramguda, reinforcing the city’s growing reputation as a global destination for technology driven enterprises.

Telangana IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu said the state government is committed to positioning Hyderabad as a global value creation hub across IT and allied sectors. He noted that the new centre spans nearly one hundred fifty thousand square feet and is expected to generate employment for about twelve hundred professionals.

The minister highlighted that the government is focusing on preparing local youth as a ready to work workforce aligned with industry needs. He added that Telangana is actively building a global innovation ecosystem that supports advanced technologies and encourages new ideas.

Calling it a strong vote of confidence in Hyderabad’s talent pool, the minister said a two century old global organisation like The Hartford choosing the city for its international expansion reflects the strength of the local ecosystem. The centre will work closely with The Hartford’s US technology hubs and focus on areas such as artificial intelligence risk intelligence and digital transformation.

Hyderabad already hosts more than four hundred global capability centres, with leading multinational companies operating in the city. Transparent governance ease of doing business reforms and robust digital infrastructure continue to attract global firms to Telangana, officials said.

With the addition of The Hartford’s technology centre, Hyderabad is expected to see further growth in high value jobs and innovation driven opportunities in the coming years.
