Hyderabad Man Dies by Suicide After Alleged Betrayal in Relationship

A tragic incident reported from Hyderabad’s Hayathnagar area has left local residents deeply disturbed after a young man allegedly died by suicide following serious personal and family disputes.
According to police officials, the victim, identified as Govardhan from Koheda village, had been in a relationship with a woman named Saritha for nearly four years. The couple had reportedly married privately without informing their families and later became parents to a child.
Investigators said tensions began after Saritha allegedly decided to separate from Govardhan and prepare for another marriage. Police sources stated that the situation caused severe emotional distress to the young man.
Family members claimed Govardhan repeatedly requested Saritha to continue their relationship, but the matter reportedly became more painful for him after learning about her future marriage plans.
Police also revealed that concerns have been raised regarding the whereabouts of the couple’s child. Authorities said efforts are currently underway to trace the child after allegations surfaced that the baby had been handed over to others.
On Wednesday morning, Govardhan returned home after completing his night shift duty. When he did not come out of his room for several hours, family members became worried and forced open the door. They found him dead inside the house.
Officials confirmed that a selfie video recorded by Govardhan before his death has become part of the investigation. In the video, he reportedly expressed emotional pain and held Saritha responsible for his situation.
Hayathnagar police have registered a case and started a detailed investigation into the incident. Authorities are also focusing on tracing the missing child and examining all claims made by the family members.
