Weather experts said strong winds moving from Vikarabad towards Hyderabad could trigger more light rain accompanied by gusts in areas like Gachibowli, Rajendranagar and Lingampally later in the evening. The sudden shift in weather brought cooler conditions across the city.

While Hyderabad enjoyed a mild spell, several districts faced severe weather. In Jayashankar Bhupalpally, heavy rain with strong winds hit Kaleshwaram in Mahadevpur mandal. Trees were uprooted at multiple locations, leading to major disruptions in electricity supply.

In Siddipet, Dubbak witnessed intense thunderstorms accompanied by hail. High speed winds blew away shop signboards and flex banners, while some thatched houses suffered partial damage. Waterlogged roads added to commuters’ difficulties.

Officials are monitoring the situation as changing weather patterns continue to impact different parts of the state in varying ways. Residents have been advised to remain cautious during sudden spells of rain and strong winds.
