BRS working president K T Rama Rao has extended his support to students raising concerns over the recent CBSE marks controversy, describing their fight for transparency and accountability as inspiring. He said the determination shown by students in questioning authorities reflects the strength of democratic values.
Taking to social media, KTR alleged that the company involved in the latest CBSE marks issue had previously been linked to the Telangana Intermediate results controversy in 2019. According to him, the firm, formerly known as Globarena, had changed its name and later secured a contract from CBSE, eventually becoming associated with another major examination related dispute.
KTR recalled that the then BRS government had acted against the company following the Intermediate results crisis in Telangana. He stated that action was taken based on the findings of a three member committee and that officials connected to the issue were removed. He also noted that legal proceedings had been initiated against the company.
Expressing concern over the latest developments, KTR questioned how an organization with a controversial history was awarded such an important responsibility. He further alleged that changes to certain CBSE rules may have benefited the company, and called for a detailed explanation from the Union Government and the Ministry of Education.
The BRS leader said the concerns being raised by students cannot be ignored and stressed that examination systems must maintain the highest standards of credibility. He argued that trust in academic evaluation is essential for protecting the future of students across the country.
KTR also praised the students for holding those in power accountable and standing up for their rights. He said their efforts should serve as an example for others seeking transparency and fairness in public institutions.
As the controversy continues to attract attention, demands for greater clarity regarding the evaluation process and the role of the company involved are expected to grow in the coming days.
