KTR Steps Up Kamareddy Campaign as Municipal Polls Near

With municipal elections drawing closer, BRS Working President K T Rama Rao is set to intensify campaigning in Kamareddy district on Saturday, placing the local civic polls firmly in the political spotlight.

KTR will visit Banswada, Bichkunda and Yellareddy, where he is scheduled to participate in a series of roadshows public meetings and corner gatherings. Party leaders said the campaign will focus on what they describe as failures of the Congress government while contrasting them with the development initiatives carried out during the BRS rule.

According to the planned schedule, KTR will begin his tour in Banswada during the afternoon. He will lead a roadshow starting from the Koyyagutta Martyrs Memorial and later address a large public meeting at Ambedkar Chowrasta. Local leaders expect a massive turnout of supporters for the event.

Preparations for the visit are in full swing across the district. Former MLAs and senior BRS leaders are overseeing arrangements with party flags and banners adorning major junctions in all three towns. Organisers say the campaign is aimed at energising the cadre and consolidating voter support ahead of the crucial municipal polls.
