A violent incident in Hyderabad’s Miyapur area has triggered concern after a woman was attacked with a knife, reportedly due to anger over her recent marriage. The victim, Nookaratnam, who works as a housekeeping staff, is currently undergoing treatment after sustaining serious injuries.

According to police, the attack was allegedly carried out by a man identified as Alisha also known as Pandu. Investigators believe the accused was upset after the woman married another person recently, which led to growing resentment.

The situation escalated when the accused, along with his father and a friend, went to the woman’s residence. An argument broke out, and when she refused to go with him, he allegedly attacked her with a knife in a fit of rage.

Local residents quickly responded to the incident and rushed the injured woman to a nearby hospital. Doctors confirmed that she is receiving treatment and is under medical care.

Police have registered a case and taken the accused along with his father into custody. Further investigation is underway to understand all aspects of the incident and ensure legal action.
