A heartbreaking incident in Telangana’s Peddapalli district has left a village in shock after a three year old girl lost her life in a brutal street dog attack.

The incident occurred in Katnapalli village of Sultanabad mandal, where the child was playing outside her home, unaware of the danger around her. Within moments, a group of stray dogs attacked the toddler, creating panic in the area.

According to reports, the dogs dragged the child away from the spot and into nearby fields. By the time people realized what had happened and rushed to help, it was too late. The child had suffered severe injuries and could not survive the attack.

The victim, identified as Divya Behra, belonged to a migrant family that had come from Odisha in search of work. Her parents are employed in local brick kilns, and the tragedy has left them devastated.

Residents in the area have expressed anger and fear, stating that the problem of stray dogs has been increasing for some time. They claim that repeated complaints have not resulted in effective action, leaving children and families vulnerable.

The incident has sparked fresh concerns over public safety and the urgent need to address the growing stray dog menace, especially in rural and semi urban areas.

As the village mourns the loss of the young child, calls for stricter control measures and preventive steps are growing louder to ensure such a tragedy does not happen again.
