A tragic incident in Sangareddy has shocked the police department after an Assistant Sub Inspector lost his life in a road accident involving a police patrol vehicle. The victim has been identified as ASI Govind Nayak, who was on duty at the time of the incident.
The accident occurred late at night near Manur Police Station, where Nayak was reportedly performing his duties. According to initial reports, a police patrol vehicle driven by a home guard lost control and ran over the officer at high speed.
Following the collision, Nayak sustained severe injuries and was immediately rushed to a hospital by fellow officers. Despite efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment.
