In a major boost to the farming community, the Telangana government has announced the release of Rythu Bharosa funds along with steps to resolve long standing land issues. The announcement has brought renewed hope among farmers who have been waiting for both financial support and clarity on land ownership.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy stated that the government is working towards a permanent solution for problems related to sada bainama lands, which have remained unresolved for years. By introducing reforms in land records and replacing earlier systems with a more transparent approach, the government aims to ensure full rights for farmers over their lands.

The much awaited Rythu Bharosa funds are set to be credited to farmers’ accounts on March 22. Around 70 lakh farmers with small landholdings are expected to benefit, with thousands of crores being directly transferred. The government continues to provide annual assistance per acre to support cultivation and reduce financial burden.

In addition to financial aid, the government is focusing on ensuring better returns for farmers. A bonus is being offered to those cultivating fine rice, while efforts are being made to guarantee fair prices for agricultural produce. These measures are aimed at improving farm income and encouraging productivity.

The administration has also highlighted its broader commitment to agriculture, calling it the backbone of the state’s economy. Significant loan waivers have already been implemented to help farmers recover from debt, and further initiatives are planned to strengthen rural livelihoods.

Officials believe that these combined steps, including financial assistance, land reforms, and price support, will create a more stable and supportive environment for farmers across Telangana.
