A new attraction is set to open in Telangana as the state’s first glass bridge is nearing completion in Husnabad town of Siddipet district. Even before construction is finished, the project has already started drawing attention from curious visitors.
The bridge is being developed as part of the beautification work around the historic Ellamma Cheruvu, a lake believed to date back to the Kakatiya period. Officials expect the structure to become a popular destination for families and tourists once it opens to the public.
Designed in a heart shaped pattern, the bridge will stretch for around 150 meters with a width of five feet. Authorities say the unique structure aims to add a modern touch while preserving the beauty of the lake surroundings.
