The Telangana government is set to introduce a major digital initiative aimed at transforming land administration, with the BhuBharati portal scheduled for pilot launch starting tomorrow.

Designed to improve transparency and simplify land related services, the portal will first be implemented in five selected mandals as part of a trial phase. These include Kusumanchi, Aswaraopeta, Amangal, Vatpally, and Kosgi. Based on the outcomes and technical feedback from these regions, the government plans to expand the platform across the state.

One of the key features of the BhuBharati portal is its focus on accessibility. Farmers and landowners will be able to check land records, apply for mutations, and handle inheritance related changes directly through their smartphones. The system has been developed with a user friendly interface to make services easier and faster.

Officials believe this digital shift will significantly reduce the need for citizens to visit revenue offices repeatedly. It is also expected to minimize the role of middlemen, ensuring a more transparent and efficient process.

The platform aims to address long standing land disputes by providing accurate and updated records. It will include comprehensive survey data along with digitally authenticated documents, making it a reliable source for land related information.

By integrating advanced technology with governance, the government hopes to create a permanent solution for land disputes while improving service delivery for citizens.
