In a significant move to strengthen efforts against drug abuse, the Telangana government has introduced a dedicated website for the Elite Action Group for Drug Law Enforcement known as EAGLE Force.

The platform was officially launched in Hyderabad at the Telangana Integrated Command and Control Centre by Director General of Police Shivadhar Reddy. The initiative marks a shift toward technology driven enforcement and public awareness in tackling drug related issues.

A key highlight of the website is the integration of three advanced AI tools designed to address different aspects of drug abuse. Sahay AI has been developed to answer public queries and provide clarity on narcotic substances. Shield AI focuses on educating users about the physical psychological and social impact of drug consumption.

Another tool Mitra TG AI has been specifically designed to assist parents and teachers in identifying early warning signs of drug use among young people. It also guides them on preventive steps that can be taken at an early stage.

Officials emphasized that awareness and early intervention are crucial in addressing the growing challenge of drug abuse. By combining technology with education and support systems, the government aims to create a more informed and alert society.

To ensure the platform reaches a wider audience, the AI tools are available in multiple languages including Telugu English Hindi and Urdu. This approach is expected to make the initiative accessible to diverse communities across the state.

Senior officials present at the launch highlighted that such digital initiatives will enhance coordination between enforcement agencies and the public. They also noted that the use of AI can significantly improve response time and help identify patterns related to drug abuse.

Several top officials including EAGLE Force Director Sandeep Shandilya TGCSB Director Shikha Goel TGICCC Director VB Kamalasan Reddy and other senior officers attended the launch event.

The Telangana government believes that this new platform will play a vital role in strengthening awareness detection and prevention efforts while supporting the broader mission to eliminate drug abuse.
