Telangana is intensifying its global outreach, aiming to bring in major investments in MedTech and advanced manufacturing by engaging with key international partners.
In Hyderabad, state Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu held discussions with delegations from the Netherlands, Italy and Norway, presenting Telangana as a ready destination for high tech industries. He highlighted that the state has already built the infrastructure required for companies to begin operations without delays.
During interactions with the Netherlands delegation, the focus remained on innovation driven sectors such as medical technology and artificial intelligence. The minister encouraged foreign investors to collaborate with local universities, stating that academic partnerships can play a crucial role in accelerating research and product development.
He also pointed out that Telangana’s dedicated hubs like the Medical Devices Park and Genome Valley are designed to support global standards in healthcare manufacturing. These facilities, he said, provide companies with a strong base to scale operations efficiently.
In separate meetings, representatives from Italy and Norway were invited to explore opportunities in manufacturing and life sciences. The minister stressed that Telangana offers a stable policy environment along with skilled talent, making it an attractive option for long term investments.
Officials present at the meetings noted that the state is increasingly focusing on sectors that combine technology and healthcare. With global demand rising in these areas, Telangana is positioning itself as a competitive player in the international investment landscape.
The move reflects a broader strategy to strengthen economic growth by attracting foreign partnerships, boosting innovation and creating new opportunities across industries.
