In a routine administrative move, the Telangana government has transferred nine Indian Police Service officers, reorganizing key positions across several districts to enhance governance and policing efficiency.
The orders were issued by Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao on Saturday night, outlining new postings and responsibilities for the officers. The reshuffle is seen as part of ongoing efforts to streamline administrative functioning in the state.
Among the changes, S. Chittaranjan, who was serving as Assistant Superintendent of Police in Asifabad, has been reassigned as Additional SP Administration in the same district. In another move, Bokka Chaitanya Reddy from Kamareddy has been posted as Additional SP in Sangareddy, while Pandiri Chetan Nitin from Jangaon has been transferred as ASP to Jagtial.
Further reshuffling includes Vikrant Kumar Singh moving from Bhadrachalam to Medak as ASP, and Nagrale Shubham Prakash from Warangal being appointed as Additional DCP in Nizamabad. Rajesh Meena, who served as Additional SP in Bhainsa, has now been posted as ASP in Wanaparthy.
In additional changes, P. Mounika from Adilabad has been appointed as Additional SP Administration in the same district. Pattipaka Sai Kiran from Nirmal has been moved to Bhainsa as ASP SDPO, while Ruthvik Sai from Vemulawada has been posted as ASP SDPO in Utnoor.
Officials stated that such transfers are part of periodic administrative adjustments aimed at improving coordination, efficiency, and law enforcement effectiveness across Telangana.
