TG ECET 2026 Notification Released Key Dates Announced

• TG ECET 2026 opens lateral entry admissions for engineering courses
• Online applications start February 9 exam scheduled May 15
• Diploma and BSc Mathematics candidates eligible to apply

The Telangana government has released the TG ECET 2026 notification for admissions into the second year of BE, BTech and BPharmacy courses under the lateral entry scheme for the 2026 to 27 academic year.

The notification was issued by the Telangana State Council of Higher Education confirming that diploma holders and BSc Mathematics graduates can apply for direct second year entry into professional courses across the state.

This year the entrance examination will be conducted by Osmania University, Hyderabad. Eligible candidates can begin submitting online applications from February 9.

Applicants must have completed a polytechnic diploma or BSc with Mathematics to qualify. The registration fee has been fixed at Rs 900 for general category candidates and Rs 500 for SC, ST and differently abled applicants.

The TG ECET 2026 examination will be held on May 15 at multiple test centres across Telangana. Officials said the test will be conducted online and advised candidates to carefully follow instructions while applying.

Hall tickets will be made available for download from May 9. Late applications will be accepted with additional fees ranging from Rs 500 to Rs 10000 during the extended window in April and May.
