The young woman Vasantha a second year engineering student was found dead in her hostel room at Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies. Authorities said she died by suicide inside the hostel. Her body was shifted to the Bhainsa area hospital and her parents were informed immediately.
Hours later another incident was reported from Kirya Thanda on the outskirts of Appayapally where Ganesh a youth from the same district was found dead. Police suspect that both deaths are linked to a personal relationship between the two. Preliminary inquiry revealed that they were relatives and had been in a relationship for some time.
Police teams visited both locations and began questioning hostel roommates friends and family members to piece together the sequence of events. Officials confirmed that the investigation is ongoing and no final conclusions have been drawn yet.
