A tragic incident has shocked Vikarabad after a woman constable was found dead at her residence in Gangaram area on Sunday. The constable identified as Divya was serving at Dharur Police Station and was discovered hanging inside her home. Police rushed to the spot soon after receiving information and initiated a formal inquiry.

During the preliminary investigation, officers recovered a handwritten suicide note from the scene. In the note, Divya stated that no one was responsible for her death and that she had taken the extreme step due to unbearable mental stress. The emotional message addressed to her mother spoke about personal struggles and the absence of her father, leaving family members and colleagues deeply distressed.

Divya belonged to the 2020 batch and had undergone her police training in Hyderabad. She had been posted at Dharur Police Station for the past five years. Her father, a former home guard, passed away six years ago, and Divya was the youngest of three daughters. Family members revealed that she had aspirations of becoming a sub inspector and was committed to her career.

Following the incident, fellow women constables from her batch gathered at the Vikarabad Government Hospital, mourning the sudden loss of their colleague. Police officials stated that a case has been registered and the circumstances surrounding the death are being examined thoroughly, including any possible professional or personal stress factors. Authorities have assured that all angles will be investigated before drawing conclusions.
