A tragic incident was reported from Jayashankar Bhupalpally district after a young man lost his life following a lightning strike during heavy unseasonal rainfall. The incident took place in Lingala village under Regonda mandal on Tuesday night.
The victim was identified as 34 year old Tipparapu Nagaraju. According to reports, lightning struck during intense rain and storm activity, leading to his death at the spot. The sudden incident left family members and villagers in deep shock.
Several villages across the district also experienced severe weather conditions as the atmosphere changed unexpectedly during the night. Areas including Regonda, Mogullapalli, and Chityal mandals witnessed strong winds accompanied by hail and heavy rainfall.
The weather conditions caused damage in several places with crops reportedly affected due to the sudden downpour. Power supply was also disrupted in some regions, adding to difficulties for residents already dealing with the impact of the weather.
The incident has once again highlighted the dangers associated with lightning during storm conditions. Local residents remained cautious as frequent lightning activity created fear among people in affected villages.
