TPCC General Secretary and Station Ghanpur in-charge Singapuram Indira, MLA Kadiam Srihari and Warangal parliamentary constituency Congress candidate Kadyam Kavya participated in the corner meeting organized at Chilpuru mandal center on Sunday.

The meetings were held as part of Lok Sabha election campaign in which Singapuram Indira addressed the gathering and urged them to vote for the Congress candidate Kadiyam Kavya.

She said that the BJP government was in power for the past 10 years at the Centre and only increased the prices of essential commodities putting additional burden on the common people. The BJP government has tripled the price of petrol, diesel and gas in 10 years, she said.

Exuding confidence that the Congress party will come to power in the country this time, Indira criticised the BJP government saying that after the creation of Telangana State, no projects of national status and special funds were given from the Centre.

As the welfare of the poor and middle class people is the agenda of the Congress government, they must send a Congree MP to strengthen the party to form a government at the Centre, she said.
