Siddharth Vikram Singh Urges Parents to Limit Mobile Phone Use Among Students

District Forest Officer Siddharth Vikram Singh has urged parents to consciously keep students away from excessive mobile phone usage and encourage learning methods that include games physical activity and creativity. He stressed that such an approach helps children stay healthy and focused while avoiding the harmful effects of prolonged radiation exposure.
The officer was speaking as the chief guest at the 16th annual celebrations of Tender Roots School held at the campus of Harvest Public School in Khammam on Monday. The event was formally inaugurated with the lighting of the lamp by school management and academic leaders.
Addressing students and parents Siddharth Vikram Singh said education should go beyond textbooks and exams. He highlighted that discipline responsibility and a sense of service play a crucial role in shaping a student’s character and preparing them for real life challenges.
School correspondent Ravi Maruth echoed similar views stating that education is not limited to books and classrooms. He encouraged active participation in sports and cultural activities to ensure overall development of students. Principal R Parvathi Reddy added that the institution remains committed to providing exposure to science technology and skill based learning alongside academics.
The celebration reflected the school’s focus on holistic education blending learning values and extracurricular activities to nurture confident and responsible students.
