A major step toward clean energy and sustainable development has been taken with the launch of a large scale Bio Gas Project in Siddipet.
The project, being developed in the Narmetta industrial area, is part of efforts to align with India’s growing focus on renewable energy and waste management solutions. It is expected to play a key role in converting waste into usable energy resources.
Developed by Juno Joule Bio Fuels Private Limited, the project involves a significant investment of around 700 crore. Once completed, the facility will have a production capacity of 100 tonnes per day, making it one of the notable bio energy initiatives in the region.
The foundation ceremony was attended by senior officials including the state IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu along with other public representatives and officials, highlighting the importance of the project for Telangana’s industrial growth.
Apart from energy production, the Bio Gas Project is designed to create value from waste, promoting a circular economy model. It is expected to reduce environmental impact while also generating economic opportunities.
Officials believe the project will contribute to job creation, industrial development, and improved waste management practices in the region.
With increasing demand for clean energy solutions, initiatives like the Siddipet Bio Gas Project are seen as crucial for achieving long term sustainability goals and strengthening Telangana’s position in the renewable energy sector.
