LPL Financial Opens Global Capability Center in Hyderabad with 1500 Jobs Boost

In a significant boost to Hyderabad’s growing global reputation, US based Fortune 500 firm LPL Financial has launched its first international Global Capability Center in the city. The move highlights Hyderabad’s rising prominence as a hub for financial services and advanced technology.

The newly established center spans around 3 lakh square feet in the Financial District and is designed to support a wide range of operations including technology development, data analytics, and risk management. The company plans to hire more than 1500 professionals in the coming years, creating significant employment opportunities.

Initially operating from a temporary facility, the company aims to transition into its permanent office by early 2027. As part of its immediate hiring plans, LPL Financial expects to onboard around 680 to 700 employees by the end of this year.

The launch was inaugurated virtually by Telangana IT and Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu, who emphasized the city’s rapid growth in attracting global companies. He noted that Hyderabad is already home to over 450 Global Capability Centers, generating around 1.3 lakh high skilled jobs.

Officials highlighted that nearly 80 new GCCs were added to the city in the past year alone, underlining the increasing confidence of global corporations in Hyderabad’s ecosystem. The addition of LPL Financial further strengthens the city’s position as a preferred destination for international investments.

Company leadership pointed out that Hyderabad’s strong talent pool played a crucial role in selecting the location. The center will act as a key support hub for LPL Financial’s global operations, particularly in the United States.

With operations supporting more than 32000 advisors worldwide and managing assets worth about 2.4 trillion dollars, LPL Financial sees its Hyderabad center as a strategic expansion. The development reinforces the city’s transformation into a major global financial and technology hub.
