Hyderabad is set to witness large scale celebrations on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, with authorities making extensive arrangements to ensure smooth and peaceful processions across the city.

City Police Commissioner CV Anand stated that a total of 168 Hanuman Shobha Yatras will take place, with all of them expected to merge into the main procession route. To prevent any untoward incidents, around 3000 police personnel have been deployed across sensitive areas with continuous monitoring and patrolling.

Ahead of the celebrations scheduled for April 2, a coordination meeting was conducted with officials from various departments and event organizers at Osmania Medical College auditorium in Koti. During the meeting, police officials emphasized the importance of planning and cooperation to ensure public safety.

The commissioner also issued a strong warning regarding social media usage. He made it clear that strict action will be taken against individuals who post provocative or misleading content on platforms such as Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, and Telegram.

Organizers have been instructed to train volunteers properly and deploy sufficient rope party teams to manage crowds effectively. Special care has been advised in areas with flyovers and railway bridges to avoid congestion and ensure safety during the processions.

Traffic management is another key focus, with officials directed to implement vehicle diversions in advance to reduce inconvenience to the public. Authorities are working to maintain smooth movement throughout the city during the celebrations.

Meanwhile, civic teams have completed cleaning operations along the procession routes. Roads have been cleared of debris, stones, and garbage, and overgrown tree branches have been trimmed to ensure safe passage for devotees.

The main procession route, stretching approximately 12 kilometers from Gowliguda Ram Mandir to Tadbund Hanuman Temple, has also been inspected by officials to ensure all arrangements are in place.

With chants of Jai Shri Ram and Jai Hanuman expected to echo across the city, Hyderabad is preparing for one of its biggest religious gatherings, backed by strict security and coordinated planning.
