KTR Slams NTA Over NEET Cancellation And Paper Leak

BRS working president K T Rama Rao strongly criticised the National Testing Agency after the cancellation of NEET UG 2026, calling the situation a major failure of the central government and a serious setback for students across the country.

Reacting to the controversy surrounding the alleged question paper leak, KTR said the cancellation of such a crucial national examination had brought embarrassment to the authorities responsible for conducting it.

He accused the NTA of failing to ensure a secure and transparent examination process and stated that the agency’s repeated mistakes were ruining the future of hardworking students preparing for medical admissions.

KTR alleged that more than one hundred questions from the examination paper had reportedly leaked before the test was conducted. He said students who spent months preparing sincerely for the examination were now being forced to suffer because of administrative negligence.

The BRS leader also pointed out that NEET faced similar controversy in 2024 and claimed that lessons were not learned despite earlier criticism and investigations into examination irregularities.

According to KTR, the repeated incidents exposed weaknesses in the examination system under the NDA government and raised serious concerns about the credibility of national level entrance tests.

The cancellation of NEET UG 2026 has triggered widespread reactions from students, parents and political leaders, with many demanding stricter security measures and accountability from examination authorities.
