Rythu Bharosa funds and new Indiramma houses set for rollout as Chief Minister Revanth Reddy announces schedule

After delays that worried farmers and housing applicants, the Telangana government has fixed timelines for Rythu Bharosa payments and the next phase of Indiramma houses, linking releases to the municipal election schedule

  • Rythu Bharosa funds to be credited after municipal elections
  • Indiramma houses second phase list to be released soon
  • Revanth Reddy confirms timelines for both schemes

Farmers waiting for financial support and families hoping for new homes finally received clarity from the Telangana government. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy announced that both the Rythu Bharosa assistance and the next phase of Indiramma housing will move forward on a fixed schedule.

Speaking at a public meeting after participating in development programmes in a Miryalaguda mandal village, the Chief Minister addressed growing concerns over the delay in payments. Many farmers had expected the money before the Sankranti festival, but the release did not happen, leaving them uncertain.

He explained that the funds would be transferred soon after the municipal elections conclude. According to him, the election process is the reason for the temporary hold, and once it ends, the amount will be directly credited into farmers’ bank accounts.

Officials said the government has already spent huge sums on farmer welfare over the years. The Chief Minister also pointed out that paddy growers are receiving a bonus per quintal, adding that the administration remains committed to supporting agriculture consistently.

Housing applicants also received encouraging news. Revanth Reddy stated that the new Indiramma houses will be launched in April, and the second list of beneficiaries will be announced shortly. Budget provisions are being planned to ensure the scheme continues without interruption.

He assured people that every eligible family would get a house in phases over the coming years and asked them not to worry about missing out. The aim, he said, is to cover all deserving beneficiaries step by step.

With municipal polls scheduled and results expected soon, the government appears keen to fast track welfare measures immediately afterward. For farmers and low income families, the announcements offer some relief and renewed hope after weeks of waiting.
